TEENS ATTEND WISCONSIN BUSINESS WORLD

Club Member Tiana participated in Wisconsin Business World with six other Club teens at Lakeland University this summer. The summer camp hosts teens from around the state and challenges them to work together to innovate and lead as they create, build and run a business from the ground up.

"It's a great opportunity to understand how a business works," Tiana said. "You're paired up with people you've never met before and you learn how to navigate things together. You learn what it's like in a workplace to work with people you don't know and face challenges together."

The camp provides opportunities to explore career paths, learn about the components of operating a business, hear from business leaders, and tour businesses. While working in groups, participants create a business, design and build a product, develop a marketing plan, and compete against their peers. The on-campus experience connects Club Members with other teens, builds their confidence and provides a sneak-peek into college life.
